Soonok Lee, born in 1958, is an artist based in Los Angeles. 

Initially drawn to theological studies for its narrative depth, she found herself disconnected from both spiritual and everyday language. This led her to explore visual art as a way to reconnect with her own voice.

Now, Lee expresses her emotions and ideas through vibrant canvases. She enjoys driving through scenic routes, listening to jazz and classical music, watching black-and-white films, reading poetry, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Her art captures the essence of human experience, blending color and form to reflect her unique perspective.
